Dr. Julie White has been a successful international speaker, seminar leader, consultant, and businesswoman for more than two decades. Julie White is the founder and president of her own consulting and training organization. She began her public speaking career using her extensive communication skills and a Ph.D. in Women's Studies, to lobby for new sexual assault legislation. Julie White is also the author of best selling audio and video programs.

A former member of the business school faculty at Old Dominion University, Dr. White went on to become the first woman director of the Institute of Management. Since that time she has built an impressive career, training and counseling individuals and organizations on topical issues such as risk taking, leadership, customer service, and change. Julie White is the co-author, along with Rick Tate, of People Leave Managers...Not Organizations! Action Based Leadership (2005).

An additional specialty area for Dr. White is in the area of communication, both business and personal. Her expertise includes both verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and gender- related issues. In particular, her presentation on male/female communication has been widely acclaimed as a non-threatening, non-judgmental approach to resolving misunderstandings, building teams, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive environment at work and at home.
