After Dinner Speaker | Entertainment | Humor | Motivation | Teamwork
Tim Clue's clean, character-charged comedy quickly found him opening for superstars such as Jerry Seinfeld and Steven Wright early in his comedy career and to this day. Audiences might catch him on a Saturday night at one of his favorite clubs, Chicago's famed downtown Zanies, but it was his razor sharp Improv skills from his Second City training and his ability to quickly and easily customize inventive content that made him one of the most requested corporate acts in the country.
Mr. Clue is a communication consultant and professional comedian with over two decades of experience serving the special entertainment needs of the corporate community. He creates and performs original business humor, entertaining all levels of industry--from the Fortune 100, trade associations and professional conferences, to annual holiday parties, conventions, and brainstorming retreats.
Tim Clue has earned a reputation as a direct and creative presentation humorist who tailors specific, inventive content, and entertainment for the unique tone of every client's event. His directing, writing, and performing experience has made him a sought-after triple threat and a one-stop shop for high-powered, big-time events, as well as more intimate gatherings. This problem-solver has over 20 years of experience producing effective, humorous, resonating content for his clients.
Mr. Clue has performed at the Microsoft Office Conference, Caterpillar, and several of their dealers with his signature PowerPoint satire, and he has repeatedly consulted for Bombardier, makers of Ski-Doo watercraft, helping bring their product line to an international clientele at their annual conference at Disney World. His double Masters of Communication and Performance along with 10 years of college teaching and his stand-up experience has also made him a "go-to" humor consultant for clients such as WGN Radio in Chicago, Culligan, and Boeing, among many others.
While Tim Clue enjoys wielding his wit for his clients, he is also proud of his professional writing and directing accomplishments. He co-founded his production company to develop works for stage, film, and TV. He has already written and directed two sitcom pilots, produced one, and his latest work Leaving Iowa was produced to rave reviews at actor Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theatre Company in 2004, ran for over a year to more critical acclaim in Chicago, and, thanks to a publishing contract solidified in early 2008, is in production with several LORT theatres around the country. He is currently work-shopping his next stage production.
