Biography

As a former Worldwide Director, Executive Board Member, and a Chief Operating Officer, Dale Moss brings you experience and wisdom directly from "the arena." He started as a sales reservation agent, and over the course of 30 years, he was not just an observer, but also a decision-maker and an active participant in the British Airways journey from "Bloody Awful to the World's Favourite Airline."

In April of 2006 Mr. Moss switched gears and headed to Mumbai, India as the Chief Operating Officer of Jet Airways. When requested back at British Airways in April 2007 by CEO Willie Walsh, he seized the opportunity to head a project. He was right back in "the arena" where he was ready for action.

When Dale Moss speaks to Leadership, Creativity and Innovation, Growth and Change and Corporate Culture, he knows what he's talking about. In his years at British Airways, he led a team of 12,000 people, was proud of building great teams and helping them deliver extraordinary results.

"Worst to First," didn't happen just once--after the events of September 11, 2001, he had to lead his team to do it again. In just 18 months British Airways was once again the leader, and this time, the world's most profitable airline. Now Dale is back at British Airways leading a team into uncharted territory at the request of the CEO. He has been able to build a team from the ground up. What started as a project has now become the point-to-point premium airline OpenSkies. His terrific spirit has been there the whole way.

Throughout his extremely successful career at British Airways, the high point of every major conference was the moment Dale Moss would appear on stage to deliver his keynote address--and he never left without a standing ovation, even if he was delivering tough news. Over the years, he took his powerful motivational message out to other companies as well--MasterCard, Prism, Airlines Reporting Corporation, etc. His impact, often described by his audience as evangelical, speaking style always won the hearts and broadened the minds of audiences all over the world.
