Barbara Bartlein provides entertaining programs with take-home content to build your business and balance your life. She has worked with organizations such as Northwestern Mutual and Discover Financial to develop leadership skills, increase teamwork and build customer loyalty. An entrepreneur, Ms. Bartlein has owned and operated two corporations, one that now trades on the NY Stock Exchange. A registered nurse, with a master's degree in mental health, she was previously Vice-President of St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee. She is a certified psychotherapist and has had a private practice for over twenty-five years. Barbara Bartlein is a Certified Speaking Professional, CSP, a designation by the National Speaker's Association held by fewer than eight percent of all members worldwide. She is Past President of the National Speaker's Association, Wisconsin Chapter, and has been featured on FOX, CNN and CBS. A stand up comedy enthusiast, she has appeared at "The Comedy Club," a five-star comedy café. Ms. Bartlein is the author of the column, "The People Pro®," which appears widely in professional journals including The Business Journal and Corporate Logo Magazine. Several of her articles are featured in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. Her book, Why Did I Marry You Anyway? Overcoming the Myths That Hinder a Happy Marriage, received a five-star rating on Amazon and is a best seller.
