Motivation Rod Raymond is a proud 40 year-old native of Duluth, MN. He is one of the few ACE, Master Personal Trainers in the country. A recent finalist on the hit TV series "Survivor," he has been in the business of helping others achieve their dreams of optimal health for over 15 years. He is the Wellness Director at the University of Minnesota Duluth, a 20-time lronman Triathlon finisher, two-time Olympic trials participant, and international champion of the Scottish Coast-to-Coast, the Trans Swiss, and the Border-to-Boarder. Upon winning the Swiss Gigathlon, one of the toughest adventure races in the world, Mr. Raymond was noted among the fittest athletes in the world. The Gigathlon is a two-day competition, said to be the equivalent of seven Ironman competitions put together. It is claimed that the winner of this competition should be labeled as the fittest man in the world. Rod Raymond has shared his philosophy that life should be lived "inside out vs. outside in" to thousands of people throughout the world with his books, videos, and seminars. Mr. Raymond is co-owner of two highly successful businesses; Fitger's Brewhouse and the Redstar Bar. He has written several fitness books including Becoming Your own Personal Trainer, the CD-Rom, "Quick Stretch," and "Total Body Stretch" video. While attending the University of Minnesota, Rod Raymond was hired to be the fitness director. He continues to run the program, which has recently been noted as one of the best university fitness programs in the country. Rod Raymond has a B.A.S. in Teaching Life Science, and a Masters of Education with an emphasis on Wellness Management and Exercise Physiology from the University of Minnesota.
