Biography

Clint Swindall, president and CEO of Verbalocity, has over a decade of corporate and small business experience. Over that time he has gained an understanding of the American worker - how they relate, how they communicate and, most importantly, how they can be inspired. He has been a corporate executive, a small business entrepreneur, a consultant, a speaker, and a trainer; this experience led to the realization that people hate to be managed, but love to be led. Understanding this concept allowed Clint Swindall to develop high-content speeches and training in an inspirational style for any business or organization.

As the founder of Verbalocity, Clint Swindall brings an understanding of the corporate environment as well as a multitude of sales and management experience. Clint Swindall began his career at SBC Communications Inc. (SBC) upon his graduation from Southwest Texas State University. As a participant in the company's Leadership Development Program, he quickly gained hands-on experience in sales, marketing, customer service, finance and technology.

Clint offers a common sense approach to personal accountability that's made credible by sharing his personal experiences. Clint Swindall helps participants understand the simple things that can be done to put life and business into perspective and be accountable for our efforts. Outstanding leaders practice engaged leadership, a proactive approach to leadership that involves being engaged at all levels, including the vision, the inspiration and the expertise.

Although speakers and trainers may put a new spin on techniques to sell, the reality is that successful sales come down to more than just technique. While skills are important, an engaged approach to sales involves skill, knowledge, inspiration and principles. By focusing on all four aspects of engaged sales, each salesperson begins to build the relationship for long-term success, and helps customers feel they truly are buying a product, instead of being sold.

The frustration of constantly searching for a life balance often causes significant stress and unhappiness in people's lives. At work, it means low morale, high employee turnover, and potentially low profits. At home, it means higher stress, personal dissatisfaction, and family problems. Clint Swindall believes that life balance is about being engaged at all levels of life, with a focus on career, health, mind, relationships and values.
