Biography

Marjorie Brody, one of "Pennsylvania's 1999 Best 50 Women in Business," is the founder and fearless leader of Brody Communications Ltd. She acts in four distinct capacities: company president, professional speaker, executive coach, and published author.

As an internationally recognized speaker, Marjorie Brody proudly wears the designation of CSP-- Certified Speaking Professional, so designated by the National Speakers Association (NSA). In July 2006, she was inducted into NSA's Council of Peers Award for Excellence Speaker Hall of Fame. She also earned her Professional Certified Coach (PPC) designation from the International Coach Federation and the title of Certified Management Consultant (CMC) from the Institute of Management Consultants. She is the first professional worldwide to obtain the combined CSP, CMC and PPC titles.

Ms. Brody was one of 12 women selected as "1999 Distinguished National Leaders" by the National Association of Women Business Owners, Greater Philadelphia Chapter. She was also one of 25 women selected as "1999 Women of Distinction" by the Philadelphia Business Journal, National Association of Women Business Owners and The Forum of Executive Women. Her company was a finalist in the small business category for the "2001 Family Business of the Year Award," coordinated by Wharton Small Business Development Center. She was also a finalist in the Ernst & Young 2002 and 2001 "Entrepreneur of the Year" awards, in the business-consulting category.

A well-published writer and author, Ms. Brody has authored more than 18 books, including her most recent You Can't Do It Alone: Relationships for Career Success (January 2006), Career MAGIC: A Woman's Guide to Reward & Recognition. Other titles include Speaking Is An Audience-Centered Sport, Professional Impressions...Etiquette for Everyone, Every Day, and the award-winning Help! Was That a Career Limiting Move?

Marjorie Brody is a Professor Emeritus at Bucks County Community College, a past president of National Speakers Association, Mid-Atlantic Chapter (NSAMAC) a member of the National Speakers Association, Institute of Management Consultants, the American Society for Training and Development, International Coach Federation, the National Association for Female Executives, The Forum of Executive Women, a founding member of Master Speakers International and Business Builders, and a founding professor of Mentor U.com.

Ms. Brody has a Master of Arts degree in Public Address and Rhetoric from Temple University.
