Say Hello to Keynote's Newest Team Member!

The newest member of the Keynote family is Events Director Blake Joerger. Blake comes to Keynote with many years of experience in both the speaking industry and also the hospitality industry, via his successful career as a restaurant manager.

Blake has already reset Keynote's record for the fastest booking ever for a new agent: he suggested a speaker and successfully set up a speaking engagement that took place nine days after his arrival! Speaker Randy Pennington wowed his audience and Blake earned his first satisfied Keynote client.

Some of Blake's favorite speakers include Kevin and Jackie Freiberg, Robert Tucker, Christine Clifford Beckwith, and Barbara Bartlein. And since nothing demonstrates a speaker's quality more than an actual in-person speech, Blake has also been spending time getting to know even more speakers. He recently met with longtime Keynote favorite Robert X. Cringely, as well as with Martha Rogers, Jason Jennings, Larry Irving, Bob Hirshfeld, Jinsoo Terry, Brian Holloway, and Bob Davies. Upcoming live speech visits include Patrick Lencioni, Connie Podesta, and (the one Blake is most excited about) football legend Archie Manning.

Blake happened to join Keynote at a time when multiple staff members had birthdays, so he's already had the opportunity to sing to many of his new colleagues, as well as share several delicious cakes and treats baked by our Office Manager Sue Rouquette and her husband Ed.

We are all excited to welcome Blake to our group. Since his arrival he has already shown his strong work ethic and his dedication to his clients' happiness, so we know we are lucky to have him as part of our team at Keynote.
